Front Row Seats - Vehicles Without Seat Memory
A permanent power supply from the Passenger Junction Box (PJB) is used to operate the adjustment motors. A switched power supply from the Rear Junction Box (RJB) is used to operate the seat switchpacks.
On vehicles without seat memory, the seat switchpacks are connected directly to the seat adjustment motors. Operating 1 of the adjustment switches on the seat switchpack will initiate the corresponding motor for that axis until the switch is released. Only 2 seat motors can be driven at one time. In order to adjust the seats the ignition must be switched ON (Power Mode 6).
If the seat encounters an obstruction it will stop moving and all further movement will be restricted.
The seat must be reset to continue movement, as follows:
- Remove the obstruction.
- Move the seat to the point where movement has ceased.
- Press and hold the switch for at least 2 seconds to override the obstruction.
