There are an additional 2 LF antennas for the Passive Entry system. The 2 LF antennas are located in the rear doors.

The Remote Function Actuator (RFA) transmits an LF signal via the LF antennas which is received by the smart key. The smart key then responds by transmitting a Radio Frequency (RF) signal which is received by the Radio Frequency Receiver (RFR). The RFR sends the received Radio Frequency (RF) signal to the RFA for authorization.
