Right Engine Mount - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Petrol (G2344485): Installation

The following step(s) applies to:

All vehicles

- Connect the vacuum hose.
- Install the engine mount.
- Install and tighten 4 new engine mounting to subframe bolts.
  Renew Part: Engine mounting bracket to subframe bolts Quantity: 4 .
  
  Torque : 32 Nm
CAUTION: Make sure the engine mount guide pin in the correct position on both side.

Use the special tool JLR-303-1692 to lower the engine until the engine brackets rests on the engine mounts.
Install and tighten a new engine mount bracket to engine mount nut.
Renew Part: Engine mount to engine mount bracket nut Quantity: 1 .

Torque : 124 Nm

The following step(s) applies to:

Right-hand drive vehicles
- Reposition the steering column shaft into the correct location.
- Install and tighten a new steering column lower shaft lower bolt.
  Renew Part: Steering column lower shaft lower bolt Quantity: 1 .
  
  Torque : 30 Nm

Remove the engine support beam and the engine support adapter.

Remove the Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1692 , JLR-303-1692-04

- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the 2 engine compartment braces.

- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Remove the special tools.
  Remove the Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1713

- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the special tool.
  Remove the Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1569
Install the secondary bulkhead center panel.

Install the hood.
Refer to: HOOD
Install the front right wheel arch liner.
Refer to: FRONT WHEEL ARCH LINER
Install the engine undershield.
Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD
