Crankshaft Front Seal (G2344456): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. CAUTION:
    • Make sure that the area around the component is clean and free of foreign material.
    • Take extra care not to damage the seal.

    Use the special tool to install the new crankshaft front seal.

    Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1628 

    Renew Part: Crankshaft front oil seal Quantity: 1  .

    Torque  : 30 Nm 

  2. Install the crankshaft pulley.

    Refer to: CRANKSHAFT PULLEY 

  3. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
