DTC P05B1-97: Active Grille Air Shutter "B" Control Circuit/Open - Component or system operation obstructed or blocked: Action

- Vehicle Conditions to enable DTC Logging Strategy
- After a full PCM shutdown, the vanes will attempt to calibrate (fully open and fully closed sequence) when engine starts. If first attempt is failed, they will be kept open and another 4 attempts are conducted when radiator is warm and fans start rotating. If calibration is completed they will proceed to target position, otherwise they will try to default open as much as mechanically possible
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Check the active grille air shutter for obstructions by foreign objects. Rectify as necessary
