Right Variable Camshaft Timing Solenoid (G2849401): Installation

    Lubricate the VCT  solenoid O-ring seal with clean engine oil.

    • Install the VCT  solenoid.
    • Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque  : 10 Nm 

    • Connect the electrical connector to the VCT  solenoid.
    • Install the coolant hose assembly.
    • Connect the 2 coolant pipes.
    • Secure the 2 clips.
    • Secure the 3 hose clamps.
    • Install the clean air duct.
    • Tighten the clamp.

      Torque  : 3.5 Nm 

  5. Install the air cleaner outlet pipe T-connector.

    Refer to: AIR CLEANER OUTLET PIPE T-CONNECTOR

  6. Vacuum fill the engine cooling system.

    Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING

  7. Connect the 12V system.

    Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
