Left Mid Catalyst Heated Oxygen Sensor (G2796693): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. CAUTION:
    • Make sure the HO2S  wiring harness is not twisted more than 180 degrees and is not in contact with either the exhaust or driveshaft.
    • If accidentally dropped or knocked install a new HO2S  .
    • Make sure the anti-seize compound does not contact the HO2S  tip.
    NOTE: If the original HO2S  sensor is to be installed, apply lubricant meeting specification ESE-M12A4-A to the thread of the sensor.

    Use the special tool to install and tighten the left mid HO2S  .

    Special Tool(s): JLR-309-004 

    Torque  : 48 Nm 

    • Connect the electrical connector to the left mid HO2S  .
    • Secure the wiring harness to the clip.
  3. Install the transmission undershield.
