DTC C0031-81: Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor - Invalid Serial Data Received: Action

- Check the integrity and positioning of the front left wheel speed sensor mounting and rectify as required
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the front left wheel speed sensor signal circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair circuit as required
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the front left wheel speed sensor power circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair circuit as required
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest. If the fault persists, install a new reluctor ring
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest. If the fault persists, install a new front left wheel speed sensor
