DTC P01FB-23: Turbocharger Outlet Pressure Sensor "B" Range/Performance - Signal stuck low: Action
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Vehicle Conditions to enable DTC
Logging Strategy
- Sensor must be electrically valid, Ignition must be switched off for greater than 5 seconds to enable start up cross check, to enable part load check, drive the vehicle with engine speed less than 1200 rpm and throttle blade position less than 7% for 5 seconds
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Inspect PCM connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, record all engine airpath pressure sensors (MAP, Post compressor, post charge air cooler and ambient pressure) With the ignition on all pressure sensors values should be close to ambient pressure. There will be some sensor to sensor tolerance differences so they all wont be exactly ambient pressure, if the sensor reporting the DTC shows an offset high of greater than 150hPa then the electrical harness needs to be checked before replacing the sensor
- Install new component, only when diagnosed as failed
