Logging Strategy
- Engine running below 4520 rpm, fuel pressure above 3 mPa, fuel mass threshold about to 5%, sensor voltage threshold less than 4.5 Volts
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment check datalogger signals
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor - High Range Sensor (0x0377)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor (0x0324)
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check high pressure fuel rail pressure sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Check fuel injectors for correct fueling
- Install new high pressure fuel rail pressure sensor, only when diagnosed as failed
