Fuel Tank - 90 (G2848960): Installation

NOTE: Steps 1-4 are only required if previously removed.
- Install the low pressure fuel pump assembly.
- Connect the fuel line to the low pressure fuel pump assembly.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install a new low pressure fuel pump assembly O-ring seal.
  Renew Part: Fuel pump O-ring seal Quantity: 1 .
- Reposition the low pressure fuel pump assembly in the correct position.
- Use the special tool to install and tighten the low pressure fuel pump assembly retaining ring.
  Special Tool(s): 310-123
- Install the fuel tank to the heatshield.
- Install and tighten the 4 bolts.
  Torque : 10 Nm
- Install the fuel line to the fuel tank at the 5 clips.
- Connect the fuel line to the low pressure fuel pump assembly.
WARNING: This step requires the aid of another technician.
- Use the transmission jack, install the fuel tank.
  General Equipment: Transmission jack
- Install and tighten the 7 bolts.
  Torque : 48 Nm
- Install the fuel filler hose to the fuel tank.
- Install and tighten the clamp.
  Torque : 3.5 Nm
- Install the 2 rear body braces.
- Install and tighten the 6 nuts.
  Torque : 48 Nm
Connect the fuel line.
Install the rear driveshaft.

Fill the fuel tank.

Connect the 12V system.
Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
Bleed the fuel system.
