Fuel Pump Module - 110 (G3152911): Removal

WARNING:
Be prepared to collect escaping fluids.
CAUTION:
- Protect the surrounding paintwork to avoid damage.
- Before disconnecting any components, make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. When disconnected all openings must be sealed.
NOTE:
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
- Always follow the fuel system health and safety precautions when doing any repairs to the fuel system.

- Disconnect the 12V system.
Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
Release the 2 second row seat cushion retaining clips.

NOTE: If equipped.
- Reposition the cushion to get access to the electrical connector.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the seat cushion heater element.
Release the 2 second row seat cushion retaining clips.

NOTE: If equipped.
- Reposition the cushion to gain access to the electrical connector.
- Disconnect the seat cushion heater element electrical connector.
- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Remove the second row seat cushion support.
Release the 2 Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) battery cooling duct fasteners.
- Remove the 3 fasteners.
- Reposition the floor carpet.
Remove the 2 second row seat cushion frame bolts.

CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the surrounding trim panels.NOTE: This step requires the aid of another technician.
- Remove the 5 bolts.
- Remove the second row seat cushion frame.
- Remove the 5 nuts.
- Reposition the wiring harness.
- Release fuel tank access panel.
- Reposition the wiring harness and the access panel.
Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors from the fuel pump module.
Disconnect the breather pipe.
Disconnect the fuel line.
Use the special tool to remove the fuel pump module retaining ring.
Special Tool(s): 310-123
Note the position of the fuel pump module before removal.
- Reposition the fuel pump module to get access to the electrical connector.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Disconnect the fuel line from the fuel pump module.
- Remove the fuel pump module.
Remove and discard the O-ring seal.
