The charge air coolant pump is an electric pump which circulates the engine coolant within the supercharger cooling system. It is located on a support bracket which is attached to the rear left side of the cooling fan shroud.
The charge air coolant pump inlet connection is connected to the charge air coolers, the outlet connection is connected to the charge air radiator. An electrical connector provides the interface between the charge air coolant pump and the wiring harness.
The charge air coolant pump receives a fused power supply from a dedicated relay in the Engine Junction Box (EJB). Operation of the charge air coolant pump is controlled with Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) signals by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
