Cooling Module (G2796573): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the component.
- Install the 2 radiator upper mounts.
- With assistance, install the cooling module.
- Install the 2 radiator lower mounts.
- Install the 2 washers and tighten the 2 screws.
  Torque : 15 Nm

- Secure the 2 coolant hose clips to the cooling module.
- Connect the 2 lower coolant hose connectors to the radiator.
CAUTION: Make sure the new O-ring seal is installed.

NOTE: Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean water.
- Install the new O-ring seal to the coolant pipe.
  Renew Part: Charge air radiator pipe O-ring seal Quantity: 1 .
- Install the coolant pipe to the charge air radiator.
- Install and tighten the nut.
  Torque : 20 Nm
CAUTION: Make sure the 4 new O-ring seals are installed.

NOTE: Lubricate the O-ring seals with clean refrigerant oil.
- Install the 4 new O-ring seals to the 2 A/C pipes.
  Renew Part: Air conditioning pipes to condenser O-ring seals Quantity: 4 .
- Install the 2 A/C pipes to the A/C condenser.
- Install and tighten the 2 nuts.
  Torque : 20 Nm

- Install the brake cooling air duct.
- Install the 2 clips.

- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the electrical connector clip.
- Install the wiring harness clip.

- Install the auxiliary radiator coolant pump.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
  Torque : 7 Nm
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the coolant hose clip.

Install the 4 coolant hose clips.

- Install the transmission fluid cooler.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
  Torque : 9 Nm

Install and tighten the bolt.

Torque : 7 Nm

Install the 3 wiring harness bracket clips.
CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the component.

- Install the coolant hose bracket at the 2 clips.
- Install the coolant hose clip.
- Connect the electrical connector.

Connect the coolant pipe connector.

- Connect the coolant hose connector.
- Install the coolant hose clip.
Install the windshield washer reservoir.

- Install the coolant expansion tank.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Connect the coolant hose.

- Install the coolant expansion tank to the original position.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
  Torque : 2.8 Nm
CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the component.

- Install the coolant pipe.
- Connect the 3 coolant pipe connectors.
- Install the coolant pipe to the 6 clips.
Install the hood latch panel.
Refer to: HOOD LATCH PANEL
Install the viscous cooling fan.
Refer to: VISCOUS COOLING FAN
Install the left air cleaner.
Refer to: LEFT AIR CLEANER
Connect the 12V system.
Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
Recharge the A/C system to the correct specification.
Refer to: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM RECOVERY, EVACUATION AND CHARGING
Fill the engine cooling system with the correct amount of coolant fluid.
