Coolant Pump (G2796574): Installation

CAUTION: Observe correct installation of the coolant pump to oil cooler tube o-ring seals. Failure to do so may result in coolant loss.
Make sure that the coolant pump to oil cooler tube o-ring seals are correctly installed.
- CAUTION: Gently rotate the oil cooler feed tube into position shown. Take extra care not to damage the component.NOTE: Lubricate the 2 gaskets with clean water.
- Install the 2 new gaskets.
Renew Part: Oil cooler O-ring seals Quantity: 2 .
- Install the tube as illustrated.
- Install the 2 new gaskets.

- Install the 2 new gaskets to the engine coolant pump.
Renew Part: Engine coolant pump gasket Quantity: 2 .
- Install the engine coolant pump.
- Install and tighten the 4 bolts in the sequence shown.
Torque : 12 Nm
- Install the 2 new gaskets to the engine coolant pump.
- Install the 2 coolant hoses.
- Install the 2 clamps.
- Install the tighten the bolt.
Torque : 10 Nm
- Install the wiring harness clip.
- Connect the electrical connector.

CAUTION: Make sure the bleed hose is fully seated. Failure to follow this instruction might result in damage to the vehicle.
Connect the bleed hose to the engine coolant pump.

CAUTION: Make sure that the locating pegs are correctly installed.
- Install the accessory drive belt tensioner.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
Torque : 48 Nm
- Install the accessory drive belt.

CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the component.
- Install the coolant pipe.
- Connect the 2 coolant pipe connectors.
- Fill the engine cooling system with the correct amount of coolant fluid.

- Connect the 12V system.
