Auxiliary Coolant Pump

The auxiliary coolant pump is an electric pump attached on a bracket, in the right of the engine compartment.
The auxiliary coolant pump circulates the engine coolant from the cylinder block to the heater core to maintain passenger comfort at low ambient temperatures.
The auxiliary coolant pump has a 3-pin connector.
The 3-pin connector provides the following connections:
- A permanent startup battery voltage, supplied from a fused output from the EJB .
- A hardwired connection to the PCM .
- A ground connection.
