Fuel Pump Module - 110 (G2577294): Removal

Be prepared to collect escaping fluids.
CAUTION:
- Protect the surrounding paintwork to avoid damage.
- Before disconnecting any components, make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. When disconnected all openings must be sealed.

- Always follow the fuel system health and safety precautions when doing any repairs to the fuel system.

- Disconnect the 12 V system.
Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT AND CONNECT

NOTE: Vehicles with 7 seats.
Remove the second row right seat.
Refer to: SECOND ROW RIGHT SEAT

NOTE: Vehicles with 5 seats.
Remove the second row seat base frame.

Reposition the carpet for access.
- Remove the 5 nuts.
- Reposition the wiring harness.
- Release fuel tank access panel.
- Reposition the wiring harness and the access panel.
Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors from the fuel pump module.
Disconnect the breather pipe.
Disconnect the 2 fuel pipes.
Use the special tool to remove the fuel pump module retaining ring.
Special Tool(s): 310-123
Note the position of the fuel pump module before removal.
- Reposition the fuel pump module to get access to the electrical connector.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Disconnect the fuel line from the fuel pump module.
- Remove the fuel pump module.
Remove and discard the O-ring seal.
