MHEV Power Down/Up (G2422524): Connect

- Connect the MHEV battery positive cable.
- Install and tighten the nut.
  Torque : 10 Nm
- Remove and discard the cable tie.

- Remove the insulated padlock.
- Remove the cover.
- Remove the MHEV battery negative cable.
- Install the cover.
WARNING: Wear safety goggles and protective gloves.

- Connect the MHEV battery negative cable.
- Install and tighten the nut.
  Torque : 12 Nm
- Reposition the cover.

Connect the electrical connector to the MHEV battery.
Install the stowage compartment.
Install the loadspace floor cover.

- Remove the insulated padlock.
- Open the lid of the special tool.
- Remove the startup battery ground cable from the special tool.
- Close the lid of the special tool.
Connect the BMS electrical connector.
Connect the 12 V system.
