Viscous Cooling Fan Shroud (G2413289): Removal

CAUTION:
Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.
NOTE:

- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2-post lift.
Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING
- Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS
- Remove the viscous cooling fan.
Refer to: VISCOUS COOLING FAN
- Remove the charge air cooler coolant pump.
Refer to: CHARGE AIR COOLER COOLANT PUMP
Release the 3 wiring harness clips.
- Release the 2 wiring harness clips.
- Position the wiring harness bracket to one side.

CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.
- Release the 2 coolant hoses.
- Position the 2 coolant hoses to one side.
Remove the Air Conditioning (A/C) pipe bracket bolt.
- Remove the bolt.
- Position the degas swirlpot to one side.
- Release the clip.
- Release the engine coolant hose.
Remove the 2 bolts.

CAUTION: Take care no to damage the surrounding components.
Remove the viscous cooling fan shroud.
