Oil Cooler (G2796544): Removal

Disconnect the 12V system.
Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING
Drain the engine oil.
Refer to: ENGINE OIL VACUUM DRAINING AND FILLING
Remove the supercharger.
Refer to: SUPERCHARGER

Disconnect the 4 knock sensor wiring harness connectors.

- Release the 4 clips.
- Release the knock sensor wiring harness.

Rotate the oil cooler coolant pipe connector.
CAUTION:
- Be prepared to collect escaping oil.
- Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.

- Remove the 18 oil cooler bolts.
- Remove the oil cooler.

Remove and discard the gasket.

- Remove the oil cooler coolant pipe connector.
- Discard the O-ring seals.
