Catalytic Converter (G2344555): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

CAUTION: If accidentally dropped or knocked install a new sensor.

NOTE: This step is only required if previously removed.
- Use the special tool to install and tighten the mid catalyst heated oxygen sensor.
  Special Tool(s): JLR-309-004
  
  Torque : 48 Nm
- Install the gasket.
  Renew Part: Catalytic converter to turbocharger gasket Quantity: 1 .
- Install the catalytic converter.
- Install the bracket.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
  Torque : 25 Nm
- Install the 2 catalytic converter bolts, but do not fully tighten at this stage.
- Install and tighten the clamp.
  Renew Part: Catalytic converter to turbocharger clamp Quantity: 1 .
  
  Torque : 18 Nm
- Fully tighten the 2 catalytic converter bolts.
  Torque : 25 Nm
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the wiring harness into the clip.
Install the noise, vibration and harshness material into its original position.
- Install the heatshield.
- Install and tighten the 3 bolts.
  Torque : 9 Nm
- Use the special tool to install and tighten the mid catalyst heated oxygen sensor.
  Special Tool(s): JLR-309-004
  
  Torque : 48 Nm
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the wiring harness into the 2 clips.
- Install the pipe assembly.
- Install the 3 clips.
Install the starter motor.

Install the exhaust system.

Install the secondary bulkhead center panel.

Install the right air filter outlet pipe.

Install the right air filter housing.

Connect the startup battery ground cable.
