Inverter (G2769924): Installation

NOTE: This step is not required if the component is removed for access only.

Connect the 2 coolant hoses.
NOTE: This step requires the aid of another technician.
- With assistance, Install the inverter.
- Install and tighten the 6 bolts.
  Torque : 9 Nm
- Reposition the ground cable into the correct location.
- Install and tighten the ground cable bolt.
  Torque : 10 Nm
Connect the breather pipe.
- Connect the inverter electrical connector.
- Install the wiring harness clip.

- Use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to perform the EV system bonding test.

- A) Connect the probe to the casing of the inverter.
- B) Connect the probe to the ground point.
- The bonding test can only be passed if a reading of under 50 milliohms is achieved. Any measurement above this must be investigated.
Connect the HV inverter cable.

- Connect the 3-phase HV cable.
- Install and tighten the 4 bolts in the sequence illustrated.
  Torque : 4 Nm

- Fully tighten the 4 bolts in the sequence illustrated.
  Torque : 8 Nm
- Install the inverter lower shield.
- Install and tighten the 2 nuts.
  Torque : 10 Nm
- Install and tighten the 3 bolts.
  Torque
  
  M8: 12 Nm
  
  M12: 80 Nm
- Reposition the 2 coolant pipes into the correct location.
- Connect the 2 coolant hoses.
- Install and tighten the bolt
  Torque : 9 Nm
- Install and tighten the 2 nuts.
  Torque : 7 Nm
- Install the rear exhaust tunnel heatshield.
- Install and tighten the 10 bolts.
  Torque : 9 Nm
- Install the center exhaust tunnel heatshield.
- Install and tighten the 3 bolts.
  Torque : 9 Nm
- Install the front exhaust tunnel heatshield.
- Install and tighten the 5 bolts.
  Torque : 9 Nm
- Install the new push on steel clip.
  Renew Part: Clip - push on steel Quantity: 1 .
Install the exhaust system.

Power Up the HV system. Only technicians qualified to EVAP level or higher are allowed to complete this step of the procedure.

- If a new inverter has been installed, the inverter and the immobilizer must be configured.
  General Equipment: Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment
- SRO 85.15.09 to be claimed separately
Fill and bleed the engine cooling system.
