PHEV Power Down/Up - Complete Vehicle - Pathfinder (G2798213): REPOWER

  1. The EVAP  must make sure any EVCP  and members of the working party have been informed that no further work can be performed on the vehicle. The EVCP  must sign the clearance section of the PTW  before handing the vehicle responsibility to the EVAP  .
  2. All steps showing the Safety Accompanying Person icon require an EVCP  within the vicinity of the power down procedure. This person must have access to the safety hook at all times.

    • Remove the insulated padlock.
    • Remove the special tool from the HV  battery connector.

    • Connect the HV  traction circuit electrical connector.
    • Install the wiring harness clip.

    • Remove the insulated padlock.
    • Remove the special tool from the HV  battery connector.

    Connect the HV  auxiliary circuit electrical connector.

    • Remove the insulated padlock.
    • Remove the special tool.

    Install the MSD  .

    Connect the electrical connector.

    • Remove the insulated padlock.
    • Open the lid of the special tool.
    • Remove the DC/DC  cable from the special tool.
    • Close the lid of the special tool.

    • Connect the DC/DC  cable.
    • Install and tighten the nut.

      Torque  : 12 Nm 

    • Close the cover.
  12. Install the left undershield.

    Refer to: LEFT UNDERSHIELD

    Connect the electrical connector to the auxiliary battery.

    • Remove the insulated padlock.
    • Open the lid of the special tool.
    • Remove the ground cable from the special tool.
    • Close the lid of the special tool.

    • Reposition the ground cable.
    • Install and tighten the nut.

      Torque  : 12 Nm

    • Install the luggage compartment floor trim.
    • Install and tighten the 4 bolts.

    • Remove the insulated padlock.
    • Open the lid of the special tool.
    • Remove the startup battery ground cable from the special tool.
    • Close the lid of the special tool.

    Connect the electrical connector to the BMS  sensor.

  19. Connect the 12 V system.

    Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT AND CONNECT

    Remove the protective sticker from the charge flap.

    • Remove the safe status sign and display the active sign where it is clearly visible. The sign should state that:
    • The vehicle HV  electrical system is operational.
    • The vehicle HV  electrical system is active.
  22. Use the JLR  approved diagnostic equipment to read and clear any DTC  .

    General Equipment: Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment 

  23. The EVAP  must now sign the cancellation and power up sections of the PTW  .
