Electric Cooling Fan And Shroud (G2423944): Installation

  1. NOTE: Take care not to damage the surrounding components.
    • Install the electric cooling fan and shroud at the 3 clips.
    • Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque  : 7 Nm 

    • Connect the 3 electrical connectors.
    • Secure the clip.
    • Reposition the charge air cooler coolant pump.
    • Install and tighten the bolt.

      Torque  : 9 Nm 

    • Secure the clip.
    • Connect the coolant pump electrical connector.
    • Reposition the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) cooler.
    • Install and tighten the bolt.

      Torque  : 9 Nm 

  5. Install the 2 coolant hose clips.
    • Install the Air Conditioning (A/C) pipe.
    • Install and tighten the bolt.

      Torque  : 7 Nm 

  7. Connect the 2 coolant hoses.
  8. Connect the 3 coolant hoses.
  9. Install the engine undershield.

    Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD

  10. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT AND CONNECT

  11. Fill the engine cooling system with the correct amount of coolant fluid.

    Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING
