Upper Timing Cover (G2344504): Removal

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING
Disconnect the 12 V system.
Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
Remove the 2 Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) solenoids.
Refer to: VARIABLE CAMSHAFT TIMING SOLENOID

- Remove the 13 bolts.
- Remove the upper timing cover.
- Remove and discard the upper timing cover gasket.
