Oil Pan Extension (G2417609): Installation

Apply a 3 mm diameter bead of sealant to the areas shown in the illustration. Use silicone gasket sealant or equivalent meeting Jaguar Land Rover specifications.

Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS 

Renew Part: Engine oil pan Quantity: 1  .

• Install the new oil pan.
• Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

  Torque  : 25 Nm

Install and tighten the 12 bolts in the illustrated sequence.

Torque  : 25 Nm

• Install the oil pan extension.
• Install but do not fully tighten the 2 bolts.

Tighten the 2 bolts.

Torque  : 25 Nm

Install and tighten the 17 bolts in the illustrated sequence.

Torque  : 25 Nm

Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

Torque  : 25 Nm 

• Install the new O-ring seal.

  Renew Part: Oil level gauge O-ring seal Quantity: 1  .

• Install the oil level gauge pipe.
• Install the 3 clips.
• Install and tighten the bolt.

  Torque  : 7 Nm
