Oil Pan (G2344502): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

CAUTION: Make sure that all traces of the old sealant are removed from the mating surfaces.

Apply a 3 mm diameter bead of sealant to the area illustrated.

Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS

Renew Part: Engine oil pan Quantity: 1 .

- Install the oil pan.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
  Torque : 25 Nm

Install and tighten the 12 bolts in the illustrated sequence.

Torque : 25 Nm
- Install the differential sleeve.
- Install and tighten the 4 bolts.
  Torque : 45 Nm
- Install and tighten the differential lower bolt.
  Torque : 60 Nm
Remove the powertrain jack.
General Equipment: Powertrain Jack
- Install the Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) material.
- Install the 3 clips.
Install the front right halfshaft.
Refer to: FRONT RIGHT HALFSHAFT
Fill the engine with oil.
Refer to: ENGINE OIL VACUUM DRAINING AND FILLING
Connect the startup battery ground cable.
