Drive Plate (G2344498): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. CAUTION: Do not insert the tap more than the depth of the threaded holes (16 mm). Apply tape to the tap 16 mm from the end as a visual guide.

    Use a suitable bottoming tap to clean the threads.

    • Install the drive plate.
    • Install and tighten the 8 new bolts in the sequence illustrated.

      Renew Part: Drive plate bolt(s) Quantity: 8  .

      Torque 

      Stage 1: 30 Nm 

      Stage 2: 120° 

  3. Remove the special tool.

    Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1659 

  4. Install the transmission.

    Refer to: TRANSMISSION - INGENIUM I6 3.0L PETROL

  5. Install the accessory drive belt.

    Refer to: ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT

  6. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
