Crankshaft Pulley (G2344457): Removal

NOTE:

- Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

- Remove the accessory drive belt.
Refer to: ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT

CAUTION:
- Make sure that the special tool is correctly located.
- Only rotate the crankshaft in a clockwise direction.
- Make sure the marks on the crankshaft pulley and engine front cover are aligned.
- Install the special tool onto the crankshaft pulley.
Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1659
Remove and discard the 4 crankshaft pulley bolts.
- Remove the special tool.
Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1659
- Remove the crankshaft pulley.
- Remove the special tool.
