Crankshaft Pulley (G2344457): Installation

CAUTION:
- Only rotate the crankshaft in a clockwise direction.
- Make sure that the component is correctly located on the dowel.

- Install the crankshaft pulley.
- Make sure the marks on the crankshaft pulley and engine front cover are aligned.
- Install the special tool.
  Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1659

- Before installing the new crankshaft pulley bolts check the lengths of the threads as shown in the illustration.
- The new bolts must be 48mm in length.
- Install and tighten the 4 new crankshaft pulley bolts in a diagonal sequence.
  Renew Part: Crankshaft pulley bolts Quantity: 4 .
  
  Torque
  
  Stage 1: 37 Nm
  
  Stage 2: 90°
Remove the special tool.
Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1659
Install the accessory drive belt.
Refer to: ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT
Connect the startup battery ground cable.
