DTC U0285-87: Lost Communication with Active Grille Air Shutter Module "B" - Missing message: Action

- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Inspect the active grille air shutter fuse for failure and replace as necessary
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the active grille shutter motor power and ground circuits for open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the LIN bus circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
