- Vehicle Conditions to enable DTC
Logging Strategy
- After a complete calibration cycle, request fully open and fully close positions. If rotation movements are interrupted before achieving target position a DTC is set
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Check there is not any obstruction preventing active grille air shutter movement
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the active grille air shutter circuit for
- Short circuit to ground
- Short circuit to power
- Open circuit
- High resistance
