Brake Pedal Switch Signal

The Integrated Power Brake system does not require the brake pedal switch in the pedal box. This function is created by the Integrated Power Brake control module. The Integrated Power Brake control module outputs 2 12V signals when the pedal is pressed to replicate the outputs of the pedal switch. These outputs are sent to the PCM  and the BCM  /GWM  . Additionally, it sends a request to the BCM  /GWM  over the FlexRay systems bus. The PCM  and BCM  /GWM  then forward the brake signal toward to all related control modules through the FlexRay systems bus.
