Spark Plugs (G2796646): Installation

NOTE: Clean all the mating faces and reusable parts thoroughly and check for damage.

Check the spark plug gap, refer to specifications.

CAUTION: Following installation of the spark plugs in the cylinder head visually inspect the paint mark on the terminal of the spark plug for correct orientation. The head of the T paint mark must face the fuel injector within ± 45°.

Use the special tool to install and tighten the 8 spark plugs.

Special Tool(s): 303-1450

Torque : 20 Nm
- Install the 8 ignition coil-on-plugs.
- Install and tighten the 8 bolts.
  Torque : 7 Nm
Connect the 8 electrical connectors to the ignition coil-on-plugs.
- Remove the oil filler cap.
- Install the 2 NVH materials.
- Install the oil filler cap.
- Connect the pipe connector.
- Install the 2 fuel lines.
Install the engine cover.

Connect the 12V system.
