Fuel Pump Module - 90 (G2577296): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. CAUTION: Make sure that the seal is correctly positioned. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the vehicle.

    Install a new O-ring seal to the fuel pump module.

    Renew Part: Fuel pump O-ring seal Quantity: 1  .

    • Install the fuel pump module to the fuel tank.
    • Connect the fuel line.
    • Connect the electrical connector.
    • Make sure the fuel pump module is correctly aligned.
    • Use the special tool 310-123 to tighten the fuel pump retaining ring.

      Special Tool(s): 310-123 

  4. Connect the 2 fuel lines.
  5. Connect the breather pipe to the fuel tank.
  6. Connect the 2 electrical connectors to the fuel pump module.
    • Reposition the fuel tank access panel and wiring harness.
    • Install and tighten the 5 nuts.

      Torque  : 6 Nm 

    • Reposition the NVH  material into the correct location.
    • Reposition the rear floor carpet into the correct location.
  9. Install the rear quarter trim panel.

    Refer to: REAR QUARTER TRIM PANEL - 90

  10. Install the second row seat.

    Refer to: SECOND ROW SEAT - 90, BENCH TYPE

    Refer to: SECOND ROW RIGHT SEAT

  11. Connect the 12 V system.

    Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
