MHEV Battery Tray - 110 (G2422561): Installation

The following step(s) applies to:

All vehicles

NOTE: Steps 1-5 are only required if previously removed.
- Install the rear MHEV junction box.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
  Torque : 6 Nm
- Install the MHEV battery cooling fan.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
  Torque : 3.2 Nm
- Install the wiring harness clip.
- Install the DC/DC cooling fan.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
  Torque : 3.2 Nm
- Install the DC/DC cooling fan cover.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
  Torque : 3.2 Nm
Install the 4 wiring harness clips to the MHEV battery tray.
- Install the MHEV battery tray.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
  Torque : 10 Nm
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the MHEV battery ground cable clip.
Connect the DC/DC cooling fan electrical connector.
Connect the MHEV battery cooling fan electrical connector.
- Connect the rear MHEV junction box ground cable.
- Install and tighten the nut.
  Torque : 9 Nm
Install the MHEV battery.
- Install the 3 brackets.
- Install and tighten the 6 bolts.
  Torque : 10 Nm
- Install the MHEV battery cover.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
  Torque : 6 Nm
- Install and tighten the nut.
  Torque : 6 Nm
Install the 2 wiring harness clips to the MHEV battery cover.
Connect the MHEV battery breather hose to the MHEV battery.
Install the MHEV battery housing air duct.
The following step(s) applies to:

Vehicles without occasional rear seats
Install the 2 clips to the MHEV battery housing air duct.
- Reposition the rear floor carpet.
- Install the 4 clips.
The following step(s) applies to:

All vehicles
Install the DC/DC .
Refer to: DIRECT CURRENT TO DIRECT CURRENT CONVERTER - 90
Power up the MHEV .
