MHEV Battery Rear Junction Box - 90 (G2886137): Removal

NOTE:

  1. Power down the Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) system.

    Refer to: MHEV POWER DOWN/UP 

  2. Remove the MHEV  battery air duct.

    Refer to: MHEV BATTERY HOUSING AIR DUCT - 90

    Remove the loadspace floor trim.

    Release the 2 clips and open the cover on the Direct Current to Direct Current (DC/DC) housing.

    Release the 3 clips and remove the DC/DC  terminal cover.

  6. NOTE: Note the position of the cables to aid installation.

    • Remove the 2 nuts.
    • Disconnect the 2 cables from the DC/DC  .

    Release the 2 wiring harness clips from the left side of the DC/DC  cover.

    Release the 2 wiring harness clips from the MHEV  battery cover.

    Release the 4 wiring harness clips from the MHEV  battery tray.

    • Remove the nut.
    • Disconnect the rear MHEV  junction box ground cable.

    • Release the ground cable clip.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.
    • Remove the 2 bolts.
    • Remove the rear MHEV  junction box.
  12. NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

    • Remove the insulated padlock.
    • Remove the cover.
    • Remove the MHEV  battery negative cable.
    • Install the cover.
