Direct Current To Direct Current Converter - 110 (G2422535): Removal

  1. Power down the Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) system.

    Refer to: MHEV POWER DOWN/UP 

  2. Remove the Direct Current to Direct Current (DC/DC) air duct.

    Refer to: DIRECT CURRENT TO DIRECT CURRENT CONVERTER AIR DUCT

    Release the 2 clips and open the cover.

    Release the 3 clips and remove the terminal cover.

  5. NOTE: Note the position of the cables to aid installation.

    • Disconnect the electrical connector.
    • Release the wiring harness clip.
    • Remove the 3 nuts.
    • Disconnect the 3 cables.

    • Release the wiring harness clip.
    • Reposition the wiring harness away from the DC/DC  .

    Release the 2 wiring harness clips from the left side of the DC/DC  cover.

    • Remove the 2 bolts.
    • Remove the 3 nuts.
    • Remove the DC/DC  cover.

    • Remove the 3 bolts.
    • Remove the DC/DC  .
