Belt Integrated Starter Generator To Front Junction Box Cables (G2422532): Removal

- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

- Power down the Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) system.

- Remove the transmission undershield.

CAUTION: Make sure there is no tension on the coolant hoses when the oil cooler is removed. Use suitable equipment to support the oil cooler.
- Remove the bolt.
- Release the oil cooler and tie aside.
General Equipment: Cable ties
- Remove the 2 fasteners.
- Release the clip.
- Release the coolant hoses.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the wiring harness clip.
- Remove the bolt.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the wiring harness clip.
- Remove the bolt.
- Remove the ground bolt.
- Remove the 3 nuts.
- Remove the air filter housing.

- Release the cover.
- Use the special tool to remove the 2 nuts.
Special Tool(s): 303-1191
- Disconnect the 2 cables from the Belt Integrated Starter Generator (BISG).
Remove the MHEV battery junction box to BISG cables.
