Belt Integrated Starter Generator To Front Junction Box Cables (G2422532): Installation

Install the MHEV battery junction box to BISG cables.

- Connect the 2 cables to the BISG .
- Install the 2 nuts.
- Step 1. Multiply 12 Nm by the effective length of the torque wrench (1).
- Step 2. Add the effective length of the special tool (2) to the effective length of the torque wrench (1).
- Step 3. Divide the total of step 1 by the total of step 2.
- Tighten the nuts to the calculated torque.
- Install the cover.
Install the air filter housing.
Refer to: AIR FILTER HOUSING
- Install and tighten the 3 nuts.
  Torque : 10 Nm
- Install and tighten the ground bolt.
  Torque : 24 Nm
- Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Install the 2 wiring harness clips.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
  Torque : 10 Nm
- Install the coolant hoses.
- Install the clip.
- Install the 2 fasteners.
- Install the oil cooler.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
  Torque : 10 Nm

Make sure the cables do not touch the coolant hose.
Install the transmission undershield.

Power up the MHEV system.
