- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check datalogger signal Engine Coolant Temperature (0xF405)
Is the coolant temperature above 120°?
Yes: Wait for the coolant temperature to decrease below 120° and retest GO to G2.
No: Coolant pump failure. Install a new coolant pump, clear the DTC s and retest

- When the coolant temperature has decreased below 120° retest the operation of the coolant pump
Is the coolant pump now running correctly?
Yes: Clear the DTC s and retest. restart the diagnostics if necessary. Note, there may be other issues causing high coolant temperature issues. Check for restrictions and air in the coolant system. Bleed the system or repair as necessary. Complete a road test to check for other issues
No: Coolant pump failure. Install a new coolant pump, clear the DTC s and retest
