Ignition Coil-On-Plug (G2344516): Removal

CAUTION:
Before disconnecting any components, make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. When disconnected all openings must be sealed.
NOTE:
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
- Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
- Position the charge air cooler in the service position.
Refer to: CHARGE AIR COOLER SERVICE POSITION
- Remove the air filter outlet pipe.
Refer to: AIR FILTER OUTLET PIPE
Remove the Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) material.
Disconnect the fuel injector wiring harness electrical connector.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the 2 Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) components.
Disconnect the breather hose.
Disconnect the 6 electrical connectors from the 6 ignition coil on-plugs.
- Remove the 6 bolts.
- Remove the 6 ignition coil-on-plugs.
