Right Catalytic Converter (G2796744): Removal

Disconnect the 12 V system.
Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING
Remove the exhaust system.
Refer to: EXHAUST SYSTEM

- Remove the nut and release the retaining clamp.
- Remove the right catalytic converter assembly.
NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

Use the special tool remove the 2 Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S).
