Exhaust System - V8 S/C 5.0L Petrol (G2796741): Overview

Dependent on emission regulations 2 variants are available on the V8 5.0L S/C Petrol exhaust system:

• Vehicles equipped with pre catalytic converter and main catalytic converter - EU5 emission regulations.
• Vehicles equipped with catalytic converter and Gasoline Particulate Filter (GPF) - EU6 emission regulations.

The exhaust system is manufactured from stainless steel and is attached to the underside of the vehicle body with rubber mounts. The rubber mounts locate on adjacent hanger brackets which are bolted or welded to the underside of the vehicle body and subframe.

The V8 5.0L S/C Petrol exhaust system comprises 3 separate sections:

• A exhaust front section comprising of 2 exhaust pipes each incorporating the exhaust gas treatment components.
• A exhaust center section comprises a resonator.
• An exhaust rear section comprising a single rear silencer.
