PHEV Battery (G2769713): Installation

NOTE: Only complete this step if previously removed.
- Install the special tool JLR-415-112 on the PHEV
battery.
Special Tool(s): JLR-415-112
- Install the special tool JLR-415-112 on the PHEV
battery.

CAUTION:
- This step requires the aid of another technician.
- Take extra care not to damage the surrounding components.
- With assistance, install the PHEV
battery.
General Equipment: Hydraulic jib crane

- Remove the special tool JLR-415-112 from the PHEV
battery.
Special Tool(s): JLR-415-112
- Remove the special tool JLR-415-112 from the PHEV
battery.

- Install and tighten the 6 PHEV
battery bolts.
Torque : 48 Nm
- Install and tighten the 6 PHEV
battery bolts.

- Reposition the ground cable in the correct location.
- Install and tighten the ground cable bolt.
Torque : 24 Nm
- Reposition the 2 coolant hoses in the correct location.
- Install the 2 coolant hose clips.
- Use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to perform the EV system bonding test.
- A) Connect the probe to the casing of the PHEV battery.
- B) Connect the probe to the ground point.
- The bonding test can only be passed if a reading of under 50 milliohms is achieved. Any measurement above this must be investigated.
General Equipment: Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment

- Reposition the HV cable and antenna assembly in the correct location.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
Torque : 9 Nm
- Reposition the second row seat backrests.
- Fill the PHEV
battery cooling system.

Power Up the HV system. Only technicians qualified to EVAP level or higher are allowed to complete this step of the procedure.
