Electric Vehicle Quarantine (G2792480): Quarantine

NOTE: A vehicle cover can be placed over the vehicle during the quarantine period; to prevent damage to the vehicle, for example water ingress.
- The vehicle must now be positioned outside and quarantined for 48 hours , where the following conditions are met;
- Ample space must be left between the vehicle and other vehicles, buildings and flammable or combustible objects throughout the quarantine period. A distance of 15 meters (50 feet) is recommended.
- Access to the vehicle for emergency services must be maintained throughout the quarantine period.
- Access to the vehicle must be secured against unauthorized access throughout the quarantine period.
- The Warning safety sign must be displayed in the windshield on the drivers side of the vehicle throughout the quarantine period.
- A safety barrier must be placed around the vehicle, leaving a 1 meter (3 feet) gap between the vehicle and the safety barrier throughout the quarantine period.
