PHEV Battery Temperature Control (G2749061): Overview

The PHEV  battery temperature control system provides both cooling and heating for the PHEV  battery. The HV  components temperature control system provides cooling for the HV  components. The cooling prevents the PHEV  battery from overheating. The heating enables the PHEV  battery to get to an optimum operating temperature quickly. The cooling enables the PHEV  battery to deliver the required power under most conditions.

The PHEV  battery temperature control system consists of the following components:

• The PHEV  battery
• The PHEV  battery coolant pump
• The PHEV  battery expansion tank
• The PHEV  battery coolant low temperature radiator
• The PHEV  battery coolant heater
• The PHEV  battery coolant cooler
• The coolant diverter valve
• Pipes and hoses.

The HV  components temperature control system consists of the following components:

• The High Voltage Integrated Box
• The HV  system auxiliary coolant pump
• The inverter
• The CIMG 
• The HV  components coolant low temperature radiator
• Pipes and hoses.
