WARNING: Do not do any work on the HV  electric system until the HV  system on the vehicle is powered down.

All the electrical components of the HV  system have an electrical bonding connection to the vehicle chassis. This makes sure that there are no electrical shocks due to potential differences between the HV  components and the metal chassis components. Also to make sure that there is also no potential difference between the HV  components.

The HV  components with individual electrical bonding are:

The electric A/C  compressor and the hybrid drive assembly (including the CIMG  ) use the engine and transmission ground cables.
