Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor - Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles Only

The pressure in the fuel tank is sensed by a fuel tank pressure sensor. The fuel tank pressure sensor is located between the fuel tank and the fuel filler pipe. The PCM senses the pressure signal through hardwire connection.
The PCM operates the fuel tank isolation valve by the measured fuel tank pressure signals.
