Front Silencer (G2524048): Removal

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2-post lift.
Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING .
Remove the engine undershield.
Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD .

- Remove the 2 nuts.
- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Remove the center undershield.
Remove the rear silencer.
Refer to: REAR SILENCER .

Remove and discard the front exhaust clamp.

- Remove the 4 bolts from the exhaust hanger bracket.
- Remove the front silencer.
NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

- Release the 2 exhaust mounting rubbers.
- Remove the exhaust hanger bracket from the front silencer.
